Thank you to John Murphy for his wonderful book, Stupid Sock Creatures which inspired me a year or so ago. These creepy, yet oddly fun creatures are made from socks that I have found our bought from stores. I started with a few of the designs in the book, but I now I design my own. Who wouldn't want one of their socks to be turned into an ever-so-lovable, umm, monster?
Is it weird that I actually ask for socks on various gift giving holidays? I might not sew quilts like my brother and my mom, but I think that these things can be just as interesting and sought after...right?
